1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unslaive ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Unslaive.

2. Description of Service

Unslaive is an AI-powered tool that analyzes your life story and provides insights into behavioral patterns. The Service includes:

• Multi-expert AI analysis system (8 specialized perspectives + council synthesis)
• Ongoing chat conversations with AI personas
• Profile and pattern tracking over time
• Binary question interactions for self-reflection
• Evolution tracking and progress visualization

3. NOT Therapy or Clinical Care

4. Account Requirements

To use Unslaive, you must:

• Provide accurate and current information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Create only one account per person
• Not share your account with others
• Be at least 18 years of age

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or abusive content
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, rate limits, or access restrictions
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts) without written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users or our team
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Ownership

Unslaive and its technology, including the AI system architecture, expert personas, design, user interface, trademarks, and brand elements, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (life story, chat messages, responses, etc.). However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and analyze your content solely to provide the Service (generate analysis, enable chat, etc.).

We will not:

• Sell your content to third parties
• Use your content for advertising
• Publicly display your content without permission

6.3 AI-Generated Analysis

AI-generated analysis, insights, and responses are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Redistribute or sell analysis results
• Use analysis to train competing AI systems
• Publicly share as if it were professional medical/psychological advice

7. Usage Limits and Quotas

The Service includes usage quotas to ensure fair access and manage costs. Current limits include:

• Analysis quota: Limited number of full analyses per week (specific limit shown in your dashboard)
• Chat quota: Message limits per conversation (specific limit shown in chat interface)
• Binary questions: Maximum responses per session

We reserve the right to adjust quotas with reasonable notice. Exceeding quotas may result in rate limiting or temporary account restrictions. Abuse of quotas (e.g., creating multiple accounts) is prohibited.

8. Content Moderation

While we do not actively monitor all user content, we reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove content that violates these Terms or is reported as harmful. We may also suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abuse.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 No Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• AI analysis will be accurate, complete, helpful, or applicable to your situation
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results will meet your expectations or lead to specific outcomes
• Content from AI or other users is accurate or reliable

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unslaive and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Decisions, actions, or life changes you make based on AI analysis or insights
• Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
• Mental, emotional, psychological, or physical harm
• Financial loss or loss of opportunity
• Service interruptions or technical failures

Our total liability for all claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months, or $100 USD if using a free tier, whichever is greater.

9.3 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that Unslaive provides confrontational, direct, and provocative feedback by design. By using the Service, you accept full responsibility for:

• How you interpret and respond to AI-generated insights
• Actions you take based on the analysis
• Managing your emotional reactions to feedback

If you find the confrontational approach triggering or harmful, discontinue use immediatelyand consult a licensed therapist.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the profile settings. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy (within 30 days).

10.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior
• Excessive quota abuse or system manipulation
• Non-payment (for paid tiers, if applicable)
• Any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service or other users

Terminated accounts are not entitled to refunds for unused service time.

11. Payment and Refunds (If Applicable)

Currently, Unslaive is in closed beta and does not charge fees. This section will apply when paid tiers are introduced.

For future paid services:

• Pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
• Refunds are at our discretion (e.g., service outage, billing error)
• No refunds for account termination due to Terms violations

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. If we make material changes, we will:

• Notify you via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before changes take effect
• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use and may delete your account.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. You agree to waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in class action lawsuits.

For small claims (under $10,000), you may bring an individual action in small claims court in your jurisdiction.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unslaive, its operators, affiliates, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you submit to the Service

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Unslaive regarding use of the Service.
